Clinical Supervision
I am currently accepting supervisees, if you are a play therapist interested in clinical supervision please fill out the form below. Please note I am a clinical supervisor in training and supervision sessions will be held in person in my practice in Blackrock, Co.Dublin.
Clinical supervision is a partnership where insight is cultivated, challenges are transformed, and the path to becoming a skilled healer is illuminated through shared reflection and support.
Play therapy clinical supervision is a specialised form of clinical supervision focused on guiding therapists who work with children through play therapy. It involves a reflective and collaborative process where the supervisee receives support, feedback, and guidance on their use of play therapy techniques and approaches. Supervision provides a safe space for therapists to explore their experiences, challenges, and emotional responses to their work, while also enhancing their clinical skills and understanding of child development, neurobiology and psychotherapy. Through creative methods such as case discussions, metaphor, sandplay therapy, art and the use of symbolic play, supervisees gain deeper insights into their therapeutic practice and the unique dynamics of the children and families they work with.
I have extensive experience working with children facing complex challenges, including those who have experienced medical trauma such as childhood stroke, brain injury, and childhood cancer. My practice also supports children who have endured childhood sexual abuse, those in foster care, and children who are neurodivergent. As a full time accredited play therapist with experience developing my own private practice, I would love to assist you in reaching your goals too.
